District or Transfer Station
If no gas reading is necessary, a district or transfer gas station can be used to reduce the pressure. A district gas station reduces the pressure from 1, 4 or 8 bar to 30 or 100 mbar, whilst in a transfer gas station the pressure is reduced from 8 to, say, 1 or 4 bar. In the case of critical processes, the installations can be supplied with multiple streets in order to guarantee the continuity of the gas supply. The installation can be fitted in a building structure or in a stainless steel casing.
